You should supply us with information about the number of your insurance policy and car registration number to support our examination of your insurance coverage, including the date, time and descriptions of the incident. Required documents include the driver’s license of the insured car’s driver as well as other applicable supporting documents.
You can use a claim document provided by us as a supporting document for your car repair.
You may submit an application form together with a copy of your ID card to us to request the re-issuance of a claim document. After reviewing your request, we will submit a copy of the claim document for car repairs to you.
You must have your car repaired within the coverage period of your car insurance policy in order to be entitled to benefits associated with additional damages from the car accident.
You and the counterparty may move to a safer spot to avoid causing additional accidents or traffic jams. You must take pictures, mark the positions on the road surface to support investigations, or prepare a signed written record of the accident.
If it can be proven who is at fault in the accident, and the car of the counterparty and yours are both protected by car insurance category 1, you may exchange the knock-for-knock (KFK) claim documents with the counterparty or make a signed written agreement on the accident as evidences and make an appointment for a claim negotiation at a later date.
Our car insurance coverage also protects the theft of spare tire and the claim compensation will be adjusted based on the tire condition. You must file a daily police report with the local police station and submit a copy of the police report to us to initiate a claim process.
The incident must be reported to BKI immediately. Our officer will interview you about the accident and give advice about legal procedures against the perpetrator or make an appointment for a damage assessment.
Yes. You can file a claim with us even if an accident occurs while your driver’s license is expired.
Damages to a car including accessories, decorations or standard equipment fitted to the car by a manufacturer or a car dealer are covered according to the actual damage but within the insured amount specified in the insurance policy. As for fittings that are made after the insurance has been taken out, you are advised to contact us for purchase of additional protection.
We do not offer a courtesy car service.

Prior to initiating a car repair process, you must obtain a repair estimate from the garage where you intend to have repairs done, then submit the estimate to us for assessment and agreement on repair costs based on standard prices.
Yes. However, please be aware that the repair costs charged by BKI’s contracted garages and dealers garages may differ and you may be liable for the difference. It is advisable for you to contact us for a repair cost estimate to support your decision before having your car repaired at a dealer garage.
You should contact us first for consultation. If your car has already been towed to a garage for repairs, the coverage for towing charges is as specified in your car insurance policy’s terms and conditions. It would be recommended to only switch garages where the repair cost has not yet been estimated or a repair instruction has not yet been given.
