Fund Donation to Foundations under the Royal Patronage

The Company has been presenting funds to a number of foundations under the royal patronage every year as follows:

• Funds to the Anandamahidol Foundation from 1982 until present. In 2015, the Company presented Baht 3 million as scholarships for students with high academic performance to further their study in different fields of education abroad.
• Funds totaling Baht 2 million per year to the Chaipattana Foundation from 1982 until present in order to support the implementation of the royal projects to help people in various areas such as education, environment, and social development
• Funds amounting to Baht 1 million per year to support royal scholarships for children under the Graduates Returning to Hometown project from 2003 until present

Bangkok Insurance Scholarship Program for University Education

The Company has been granting scholarships at university degree to students with good academic performance but lacking funds on a yearly basis from 2003 until present. In 2016, the Company granted 92 scholarships to students with the total funds of over Baht 6.9 million.

The Project to Promote Reading Habits

The Company supported books, textbooks, and stationeries as well as developed library facilities for schools at primary and secondary levels in remote areas. It also provided trainings for teachers to build the reading activities and standards at schools. It has engaged in the said project since 1997 until present.

Support for the Foundation of Virtuous Youth

The Company donated Baht 2.5 million to support the operations of the Foundation of Virtuous Youth (Baht 1 million for the Bangkok Insurance Foundation; Baht 1 million for the Chai and Nuchanart Sophonpanich Foundation; and Baht 500,000 for the Chin Sophonpanich Foundation) to conduct activities for the Moral School project according to a royal initiative.

Support for Educational Activities

The Company donated drinks, stationeries, and supplies to support activities for groups of students. This support was part of the BKI Give project held by the Company to support activities relating to education and social development of various educational institutes on an ongoing basis.
